18/11/09 | Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC)- we know it is common, but the true incidence is unknown.

The second most common skin cancer, it is often rapidly growing and may spread to other parts of the body.  It commonly presents as a small lump which ulcerates and refuses to heal and is mostly seen on chronically sun damaged skin.  It is also a major problem in patients with compromised immune systems.
